Welcome to Back Country Farm! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website,  (the “Site”), and your purchase of products from Back Country Farm, a farm-based business operating out of Rigby, Idaho (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this Site, placing an order, or otherwise interacting with our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Products & Availability

Back Country Farm provides farm-fresh, all-natural products, including but not limited to:

  • Raw goat’s milk
  • Beef tallow (for cooking and skincare)
  • Sourdough loaves
  • Farm-fresh eggs
  • Whole chickens
  • Bone broth
  • Seasonal or limited-availability items

Due to the nature of small-batch, animal-based production, availability of certain products may vary. We reserve the right to limit quantities or delay fulfillment based on supply and demand, animal productivity, or seasonal considerations.

Some products (such as sourdough bread, eggs, and bone broth) require advance notice and preparation time. Orders for these items will be fulfilled according to availability and may include a waiting period. You will be notified of estimated pickup or shipping dates during checkout or via follow-up communication.

2. Order Processing & Pickup

At this time, all orders are processed for local pickup only in Rigby, Idaho, unless otherwise stated. When placing your order, you agree to:

  • Arrive at your scheduled pickup time/location;
  • Communicate in advance if rescheduling is needed;
  • Accept full responsibility for collecting your order in a timely manner.

Orders not picked up within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to cancellation without refund, unless otherwise arranged.

3. Shipping (Future Availability)

Back Country Farm may offer shipping for eligible non-perishable products in the future, including but not limited to beef tallow and other preserved goods. Shipping policies, rates, and timelines will be disclosed at checkout and are subject to carrier availability and regional laws.

Please note: Raw dairy, eggs, and other perishable farm goods are not eligible for shipping at this time due to health and safety regulations.

4. Raw Milk Disclosure

All raw milk products are sold in compliance with Idaho state laws. By purchasing raw goat milk from Back Country Farm, you acknowledge Idaho state law for raw milk consumption and purchases.

5. Refunds & Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or provide refunds except in the following cases:

  • You received the wrong item;
  • Your order was not fulfilled due to farm error;
  • A quality issue was reported and confirmed by our team within 24 hours of pickup.

Refunds or replacements are issued at our sole discretion. Please contact us immediately at [insert email or phone number] if there is a problem with your order.

6. Limitation of Liability

Back Country Farm makes no guarantees regarding the health or fitness outcomes of consuming any of our products. While we take care in producing clean, high-quality food, consumption is at your own risk. We are not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions;
  • Improper storage or handling by the customer;
  • Delayed or missed pickups;
  • Any injuries, damages, or losses incurred in connection with use or misuse of our products.

By purchasing from us, you release Back Country Farm and its owners, employees, and agents from all liability relating to such outcomes.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Site, harass staff, falsify information, or attempt to reverse engineer any part of the Site or order process. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service to anyone engaging in inappropriate or unlawful behavior.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including logos, product names, images, text, and media — is the intellectual property of Back Country Farm and may not be used or reproduced without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Jefferson County, Idaho.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
